Welcome Back…I’ve Missed you!

It’s hard to believe it has been 10.5 weeks since the clinic was mandated to close.

I’ll be honest…the days felt long at times…but the weeks were short and here we are…fully open again!

At this point you may be noticing pain and discomfort and have just been living with it…or maybe your body has held it all together (as bodies do) during acute stress only to show symptoms when things start to settle down.

Either way it’s time to get you back on track with your care and to help your body adapt to these crazy times.

It’s important that you feel safe coming into the clinic and the goal of this document is to make sure that is how you feel.

What to Expect: Office Changes

The Waiting Room

  • Hand sanitizing station
  • Less chairs with at least 2 M between them
  • All chairs are wipeable
  • Blue bins to contain your personal belongings
  • Toys & magazines removed
  • Adjusting shoes removed
  • Barrier created for front desk

The Washroom

  • Washroom will be open and sanitized between patients
  • Single use paper towels for hand drying
  • Bench has been removed

The Adjusting Room

  • Adjusting shoes now in adjusting room
  • Will be using the front adjusting room (or Dr. Peter’s room)
  • Headrest paper will not be placed on table until patient lies down
  • Disinfectant and cleaning rags
All guidelines have been set forth by the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and the Ministry of Health (MOH)

What to Expect:  Your Appointment

Screening Procedures

  • Prior to every appointment a COVID-19 questionnaire must be completed. The link to this questionnaire will be in your email appointment reminder and should be filled out prior to entering the clinic.
  • If you are experiencing ANY symptoms of COVID-19 please cancel your appointment.
A COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire must be completed prior to every appointment.



  • Masks are necessary when distancing measures cannot be maintained.
  • Please bring your own mask in the unlikely event that you will need it in the waiting room.
  • For the adjustment portion of your visit I will be wearing a mask – you will not be required to wear a mask while facedown on the adjusting table

Adjusting Shoes & Socks

  • I will give you a pair of shoes & socks to wear during your appointment
  • Shoes will be disinfected and socks will be washed daily in hot water

Appointments + Payment

  • To minimize patients in the waiting room please arrive at your exact appointment time and/or wait outside (or in your car). We will be able to message you to come in. The schedule has been adjusted to ensure fewer patients in the clinic.
  • Pre-paid packages will be offered to minimize payment transactions. Tap payment is available. Receipts will be emailed.
Dr. Ange will be wearing clean clothes that have not come into contact with the general public.

What to Expect: Cleaning

All surfaces will be cleaned & disinfected using Benefact Decon 30 (Health Canada approved)

Cleaning suppliesTo ensure all surfaces are adequately disinfected a blue bin will be provided to you in the waiting room. This bin is for all of your belongings (including your shoes) and should be brought into the adjusting room with you.

All clinical contact surfaces will be cleaned after every patient including:

  • adjusting table & instruments
  • therapeutic/diagnostic equipment (scanner)
  • any other surface that may be used

All patient contact surfaces will be cleaned after every patient including:

  • adjusting shoes, socks & patient gowns
  • chairs & other surfaces
  • blue bins
  • doorknobs/handles
  • washrooms
  • debit machine
Dr. Ange will be practicing “Hand Hygiene” after every patient and every point of contact in which necessary as per MOH guidelines.
